Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

When you ask for a resource or subscribe to a newsletter: your email address, your first name (optional), the resource you asked for, the author concerned, where your visit came from (podcast, Pinterest, YouTube, book), the site language and the date you signed up.

Why, and on what basis

To send you the resource you asked for and the newsletter of the author you chose, based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), confirmed by a validation email (double opt-in). Each author newsletter is separate: you only receive the ones you agreed to.

Who processes your data

Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) to send the emails; Cloudflare for hosting and spam protection. Your data is never sold or rented.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, then deleted at the latest after 3 years without activity.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and portability: write to contact@getmasterbooks.com. Every email has a link to unsubscribe. If you live in the European Union, you can also file a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

For US residents

We do not sell or share your personal information, as these terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar state laws, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. You can ask to know, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to contact@getmasterbooks.com. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies. Audience measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics) does not set any cookie.
